West Unity Village
Council
The West Unity Village Council thanks you for visiting the community
website.
Your Village Council consists of six individuals who are responsible for
conducting the legislative business of our community.
They are:
President
Kirk Thompson,
Dave Chester, David Short,
Ron Hausch,
and Rich Merillat,
Donavon Leu
The most obvious task of the council is to pass ordinances or resolutions
that directly affect the community. In addition to passing ordinances
and resolutions, the council is responsible for addressing concerns of
local residents at council meetings, working with the Mayor in running
the everyday business of the village and overseeing any operations that
are affected by the special committees the council members are a part
of.
These committees are responsible for meeting as needed to discuss specific
aspects of village business. These committees and there members are
listed below.
