Residents hear what they think is a trapped puppy in a drain pipe. Unable to rescue the puppy they call the fire department to save the puppies life. Unable to reach the puppy the firemen think that the pipe may be plugged making escape for the pup impossible. Firemen decide to flush the pipe out hoping to clear it creating an escape route for the pup. Pumping water into the drain unplugged the pipe letting not a puppy escape but two little groundhogs. The sounds that were heard were not that of a puppy but that of a pair of groundhogs which ended up getting a bath out of the whole ordeal.
